Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg Claims He Was Never Bullied as a Child

During a Friday afternoon press briefing, former Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, Pete Buttigieg reiterated that he was not, in fact, mercilessly bullied as a child.

The previous Democratic runner-up for President, who has been referred to as “Mayo Pete” during his bid, stressed that he had a perfectly safe and happy childhood. When pushed for more details, Buttigieg abruptly ended the press briefing 15 minutes ahead of time.

Buttigieg, who also claims to be 5’10”, scored particularly low in polls among African Americans, Latinos, and High School Jocks during the Democratic Primary.
